Because that’s where I was instead of the Reacher panel. I really wanted to see Richardson live to see how big he is irl. It was my biggest fail of the weekend aside from mission Dickinson.

Yeah, after spotting an AFS bag, I casually mentioned that I used to work there. And gave me a long look, and then said, 'That's probably why you look familiar.' But it was so long ago, and I looked different back then, so I was suspicious he was just saying that to seem more veteran.

Awww, why did I watch that? I have so much to do and don't have time to watch much more, but I'm hooked in to season 4.
The beginning suffered from that cliched device where the hero is minding his own business and a mystery falls into his lap in a most sanguineous way. REacher's know-it-all monotone is wearing a little thin. And they've matched him with some better fighters but while the action is well choreographed, it lacks impact, even though they're smashing a lot of random object against each other. It has all the usual trappings - a hawtty in distress wearing only a towel, a barney fife, a tough detective who is sympathetic to Reacher's altruism.
But it's still Reacher so it's still amusing.

Cranky, bitchy Reacher is the best Reacher. Caught the first two episodes. I like them so far. Reacher is in his no fucks to give mode. I'm amused in the fights that Reacher always loses for a bit than dishes out the wallop.
I think the hallmark of the Reacher books is that he always stumbles into these implausible situations by accident. It's kind of the thing. Lee Child, the author, actually looks for ways for the meet-up to be as tenuous as possible.

Somebody pointed out, you have to look at Reacher as if he is on the spectrum. Now, the show makes even more sense.
