In fact, one particularly animal friendly MMA fighter named Cathal Pendred actually saved the life of a young dolphin, which he discovered beached and injured while taking a seaside stroll with his girlfriend in Doonbeg, Ireland.

Cathal picked up the dolphin and brought it to a less rocky part of the coastline with deeper water so it could swim to see another day. And to think- he didn't even have to pretend to be a marine biologist!
