I have survived DOOM south intact. Many thanks for the wonderful hospitality.
Now in SD with a lot of other ‘rents collecting their cubs. It’s quite nice here.

Two corrections.
It was my father's plate collection
That plate wasn't part of the collection. It was a Christmas Gift. Much like the autographed Shatner picture.

Couch surfing night 2.
Stayed with my KF siblings Chet & Martha (cfs know). Felt a bit intrusive because Thunder is leaving for 3 months in Austria right now (intensive language study abroad to complete her degree), but it was great catching up with them. Last night went later then planned. And they also have 2 dogs were quite amused by me.

Mission complete. Cub back at bungalow. Took about 9 hours, mostly due to thick traffic from SD to grapevine and a lunch break.
