RE: Sheltering in Place - Greg - 07-28-2020

We are all Zoom now.

RE: Sheltering in Place - Drunk Monk - 07-28-2020

Nobody ever calls me. Nobody. Except when I'm on Zoom. Got two calls during the last meeting.

Lord Zoom knows. I don't know how he knows, but he knows.

RE: Sheltering in Place - Greg - 07-28-2020

The only people who call me, call me on my cel phone. Especially family. This despite the fact I have told them repeatedly that cel reception is minimal at best and they should call me on the land line.

“Land line”?

RE: Sheltering in Place - King Bob - 07-28-2020

We have a land line too. We kept it because my mom could remember the number but not my cell number. The only reason we've still got it is that only my wife's name is on it and you can't cancel it online; you have to call in, and she keeps putting it off. On the other hand, if there's a disaster and cell reception goes down we'd still have a phone - if that doesn't go down too.

I'm with the Yeti. But then, we make our living by the sword. Professional swordsmen. In 2020. So WTH do we know?

Day 129: I thought I was going to do my Veronica interview but I just finished that just now. I'll put the final polish on it later this afternoon, after I sleep on it. When I wake, I have to take my mom to the hearing aid center. We've been putting it off due to the pandemic but it's clear now that we may be waiting for a ridiculously long time so we decided to take the gamble. I also have to get her groceries and stock her up for two weeks because I might not be by next week. Then I have a one-on-one telemeeting with the CEO of Immortal and I have to finish up a bit of work with them. Plus I should check in with FBU on something. Sort of a busy Wednesday actually.

RE: Sheltering in Place - Drunk Monk - 07-30-2020

Day 130 - got a telemeeting with ymnotca. Still not sure if there’s work there for me at all. That’s it. Maybe some writing.

RE: Sheltering in Place - Drunk Monk - 07-30-2020

My telemeeting was postponed until next week.

Now what to do?

What to do?

RE: Sheltering in Place - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 07-30-2020

Snack time!

RE: Sheltering in Place - Greg - 07-30-2020

It's probably too early for the night cheese.

RE: Sheltering in Place - King Bob - 07-30-2020

I think DM needs one of those desktop Zen gardens. It's always time to rake.

I have a gravel-filled area that is now the Yuki zone. It's kinda like a Zen garden, although nowhere near what I made at Ranch MacBeth. Yuki likes to dig and bury stuff in the gravel. I can just spend time picking up after him.

Day 131: Stacy has a busy day which delegates me to Yuki sitter. Maybe I’ll write (yeah been saying that for days now...coronablocked).

To paraphrase Martin Scorcese as Vincent Van Gogh "Why aren't you writing"
