So now I’m hanging out with Yuki in a random park in Redwood City. There are a lot of people here but everyone is spread out. Most are masked when walking. Few are masked if they’re doing some activity like soccer or working out. Yuki is amusing me because everything is so new and fascinating. I can see that little puppy brain hard at work, processing it all.

i too have a drawer of allen wrenches. fortunately i kept the right one for this piece.
it's ingenious design. i'll give them that. but so impractical when it comes to assembly and disassembly. it's maddeningly premeditated on the part of those swede designers - as if they are saying 'this is what i can do to f you up.'

Swede’s have a lot of unresolved issues from the Viking days. It manifests in the cruel way they design furniture. It’s a dry hate, though, Very dry.

Day 121: First thing - got a video doctor appt, rescheduled from last week. And then I think there’s an fbu telemeeting - been hitting a lot of impasses there which has me tweaking right now because it’s the closest I have to a stable job. Then over to my mom’s like every Tuesday.
