And just like that, my Thursday dance card filled up.
I now have three additional telemeets, but the last two are more social (the 4th YMAA telemeeting is annoying because one of the employees has his panties in a bunch about something he wanted to push through, basically putting work on everyone's desk and then complaining that we didn't meet his schedule - whatev dude, do more qigong and calm down). The other two are a follow up with my disciple brother and a pre-game SDCC planning sess with Plugo.
6 telemeets in one day is some kinda record for me.

Yesterday I returned to my beloved bungalow, covid free. Happy Friday!
Today, I have Kung Fu, and it'll be my only class for the month. Then I have YMAA work, swaps for some Fridays that I'm taking off later. Plus I'm continuing to write up my Shaolin Trips for KFM while it's still fresh in my mind.

Work, then up to Tiger Claw for a quick Shaolin post mortem, then visiting mom and back to svale for the night. I stocked that fridge when I was there last because I was self isolating. So there’s food.

Yesterday evening was Friends of H taking us to dinner at a traditional Heurigen. It is like a beer garden, but with wine. This "public transit" thing is wild; I wonder if it will catch on in The States.
Last full day in Vienna today. Replaced 20 year old sandals that gave up on the cobblestones around midnight last night. Had to buy a suit for the wedding this weekend in Germany. Austrians are a large people, fortunately, and clothes are relatively cheap here. Not used to having such a large array of sizes and brands.
Bookstore again today as H picks up her krimis. Meeting friend of H's at Cafe Ritter which has become our local. Finish up tonight with traditional Wiener schnitzel.
Tomorrow morning we take the train to Munich, then another to the Lake Constance area, then take a taxi to a tiny town where we will likely be killed in a Midsommar/Wicker Man scenario.

I am envious of your trip to Munich. Such great museums. (Christina got annoyed at my pace through the Antikensammlung. I mentioned that a certain vase was very famous, and she replied, "How can it be famous? This place is full of them!") And I remember having some excellent spaetzle. Plus there are actually some friendly Germans there.
Working today and then some prep for our trip to Tahoe tomorrow. It's with Christina's family so not exactly a vacation. Unfortunately our nephew is bringing his kids - boys, 3, 5 and 8 years old. (Originally he said they couldn't make it.) Those kids are monsters and he is a very laissez-faire parent, so it's not going to be that relaxing after they arrive. Oh well. We do get one day before they get there.
