My beach bungalow doesn’t push me this hard.
A private driver will be taking me to the airport in an hour. Long layover in Taipei, plenty of time to fill in the gaps of yesterday.

Saw a big hawk on the fence by the driveway yesterday. A mockingbird kept swooping down at it, so I think it was eating a baby mockingbird. Unfortunately I can't get my file transfer software to work, so I can't post a pic. I'll try tomorrow at work. It didn't look like any of the hawks in my bird book, but I looked online and it most resembled a broad-winged hawk. They aren't native to the area, but it said they had been seen in San Jose.
Taking today off - we've got our friend's dogs and Christina is working, so rather than come home at lunch, I just used my personal holiday. (I have forgotten to use it in the past and lost it.) I'll walk the dogs fairly early, then practice some music, then feed the dogs lunch and go to the library bookstore. In the afternoon we'll all hang out on the couch.

Flew from SFO to Amsterdam, caught a smaller jet to Vienna. Mid-80's here. Feh. Overnighting at airport hotel, then train to Linz to reunite with H.

There’s a visiting iaido sensei doing a special workshop tonight but there’s no way I have the juice left for that. I may just stop by to meet him because I’ve heard a lot about him.
Definitely a sauna/salt bath today, and more sleep.

Yeah, I had a very civilized outbound trip. Going to Europe is always easier for me than coming back (jetlag-wise). My adversarial relationship with sleep works for me.
Currently in Linz, where H has a gig, then back to Vienna for a few days, then to Southern Germany for a wedding.

Starting to look through my Iron Crotch footage to see if I can find a movie in there. I'm transferring all the footage to a faster HD for quicker access. I only have eight hours until that completes. I'm also going through some Qigong books for background.

It’s a 3 telemeet Thursday. Tara is working at the South Bay office for the next two and final weeks of her summer program, and will stop by to deliver some tea. Then I have a chat with Plugo about our SDCC plans. And I’ll test today sometime to see if I’m negative yet.
