RE: Andor(2022) - Drunk Monk - 11-24-2022 I did like the end of credits scene. It took a long time to finish the Death Star. The second DS came together quickly. I wonder where they got all that kyber… RE: Andor(2022) - Greg - 11-24-2022 Hmm. Didn't wait for an credit scene. RE: Andor(2022) - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 11-24-2022 Very satisfying. RE: Andor(2022) - thatguy - 02-04-2023 I finished it. Liked it. It ranks in the top, up there with A New Hope and Rogue One. Good acting, good story, and very limited "cute" bits. Things I didn't like: ![]() - Polaroid Land camera - come on prop guys, you called that one in - I know it's a long time ago, so why are they using the metric system? --tg RE: Andor(2022) - Greg - 02-24-2025 Curse you, Disney. With Daredevil and Andor, I will be sending money to the mouse for the foreseeable future. RE: Andor(2022) - Drunk Monk - 02-24-2025 Let go of D+ for now. Might resubscribe later. RE: Andor(2022) - Greg - 03-24-2025 Another Andor trailer. RE: Andor(2022) - Greg - 04-28-2025 Season 2. Ep 01. Someone slipped in some notes the show needs a bit of humor. Message received. This was pretty funny. It's a year later. Everyone is off doing things. Andor is on an adventure. Mon Motha is doing a wedding. I am ready for more. RE: Andor(2022) - Drunk Monk - 04-28-2025 Not reading that I’ve had blinders on since it released, dodging spoilers. RE: Andor(2022) - Greg - 05-04-2025 Ep 02 Kind of a filler episode. Everybody waiting to do something or something to happen. Still good. RE: Andor(2022) - Drunk Monk - 05-05-2025 I was planning to dive into this last night for Star Wars day but I got sidetracked melting lammies for Cali Roots (all my May lammies are prepped - yay!). So I did the sacrilegious act of watching some DS9 instead because that required less attention. That and some K-pop vids. Maybe tonight… RE: Andor(2022) - thatguy - 05-06-2025 May You live long and prosper! _\\// --tg RE: Andor(2022) - Greg - 05-26-2025 I think I'm up to Ep06. The beauty of this show is that at the end of every episode, I ask myself "What the hell is going on?" It's all very dramatic and mysterious, but I'm having a hard time tracking the plot lines. It could be that I'm not watching them close enough together. I am in the minority because everyone loves this show, but I'm just not getting it. RE: Andor(2022) - Greg - 06-01-2025 I take it all back. The reason for this show is Ep08. All the weirdness and odd pacing and stupid episodes are cleansed and made clear by Ep 08. This episode is why people are calling this a great show. Granted there are still four more episodes to go Ep09 was a bit down from episode 08 but it was still really good. It's like the caffeine finally got delivered to set. My biggest question is why is Benjamin Bratt taking over Jimmy Smitts. RE: Andor(2022) - Greg - 06-02-2025 Got sucked in and had to finish all the episodes last night. Ep11 was the strongest of the bunch, but they were all god. The problem was immediately upon finish Ep12, we wanted to watch Rogue One. We will do that tonight. |
