RE: Ted Lasso (Apple TV+) - Greg - 03-22-2023 Oh, Ted Lasso, you make me happy. S3 Ep02 Roy Kent deals with the breakup with Keelie. Trent Grimm will be writing a book about the team. No one is happy about that. And the team pursues a mercurial football star. There were more laughs in this episode. Hanna Waddingham had a great scene in a men's restroom. Actually there were a couple of scenes in bathrooms/locker rooms. The best thing about the show was Coach Beards squeak of excitement. RE: Ted Lasso (Apple TV+) - King Bob - 03-22-2023 Dan John, who is maybe my favorite fitness writer, said today that Ted Lasso "s the most honest presentation about coaching that I have ever seen." He also linked to this nice article RE: Ted Lasso (Apple TV+) - Greg - 03-29-2023 All the feels with Ted Lasso. Ep 03 Ted learns some bad information and we deal with Zava, the superstar player the team has hired. It's all very good. RE: Ted Lasso (Apple TV+) - Greg - 04-20-2023 S3 Ep06: Sunflowers The team is off to Amsterdam for a friendly match but their losing ways continue. This episode was particularly good and a long episode as well. There at least four distinct story lines, all of which were very good and finally Ted comes to grips with coaching the team. The show was full of pathos and humor. It was probably fun for the cast to shoot on location. RE: Ted Lasso (Apple TV+) - thatguy - 04-21-2023 He's here...he's there... https://datebook.sfchronicle.com/movies-tv/ted-lasso-brett-goldstein-san-francisco-orpheum-17907166 Quote:Everyone’s favorite ‘Ted Lasso’ star is bringing his comedy show to S.F. --tg RE: Ted Lasso (Apple TV+) - Greg - 04-21-2023 I follow him on Instagram so I saw that ad for his show. Sadly, I will not be attending. He was very entertaining on the Colbert show last week. RE: Ted Lasso (Apple TV+) - Greg - 04-26-2023 Ted Lasso, you complete me. Such a funny show. So much empathy. Great characters. Every character gets a bit of a well thought out arc. In this episode, Ted introduces the idea of total football. The team finally comes around for just a moment. That's the main story line but there are at least three other stories going. RE: Ted Lasso (Apple TV+) - Greg - 05-25-2023 Binged a bunch of episodes when we came back. Saw the penultimate episode last night. Mental Health issues came back to the fore and how the show will end is proposed. More sweetness and light that I will miss. I don't know how they got Man-City to agree to lose a match on TV. They are Premiere League champions at the moment. It will be sad/fun to see the end. Fingers crossed for a fourth season. Unfortunately, my free pass ends on Monday and the final episode airs on Tuesday. Yes, I'll be paying for one more month of Apple+ RE: Ted Lasso (Apple TV+) - Greg - 06-01-2023 And that's all folks. Ep12 Season 3 brings the show to a close in a super extended episode. I think every character and storyline received closure and all in a very good way. I'm sad this show has run it's course but the ending was quite fitting and true to the show. RE: Ted Lasso (Apple TV+) - King Bob - 06-05-2023 Greg - since you still have Apple TV and you are doing all things Irish, you should watch Bad Sisters.
