Damn damn damn...I thought this was supposed to be the last season. I was hoping for some nice resolution in the "final" episode, but no. There's another season coming.

Ep04 Homelander continues to consolidate power. Huey continues to be the worst boyfriend. A lot of deaths by dildo. There was a slight chance there was a person to like in the show but he died. Starlight really needs to go hide for awhile. The Boys continues to be a show about really terrible people.

Ep 05 and Ep 06 In Episode 05 The boys end up in Russia and waken something they shouldn't have. Homelander continues to go off the rails. Hughie continues to be the worst boyfriend
Ep06 Herogasm This is the episode that is getting all the buzz. So much nudity and sex that is wrong on so many levels. Hughie and Butcher continue to see the temporary hero potion. Chloe recovers from the adventures in Russia. There is finally a big Hero battle.
I think Ep06 finally turned me around a bit. Starlight is worth watching because she is rising above all the shit around her. The one hero in the show that does heroic things. I now need to see how it plays out.

And that's how we ended it. Watched episodes 07 & 08 last night. It changed me around on the show. The level of horribleness was greatly reduced. And by that I mean the horribleness of the characters not the show. Saying that, I still think Homelander deserves an Emmy. Black Noir continues to be the most useless character. I'm still not sure of his powers but he finally gets an episode partly to himself.
There was a really fun battle royal between all the Super Heroes to end the episode. Lots of painful looking stunts. And the heroes take time out of being awful for once to do heroic things. Hughie is still the worst boyfriend and Annie needs to move on. Lots of really good cringe worthy moments. The Deep needs help. Kimiko has great fight scenes.
