To mark the launch of the new TRON: Evolution video game, a London-based fitness chain has created a new combat workout.

The Tron Evolution fitness class: bouncy bouncy The Tron Evolution fitness class: bouncy bouncy

The workout has been created using Parkour and Capoeira moves inspired by the action-adventure video game.

Called Tronjitsu, it has been exclusively invented by Troy Dureh, celebrity fitness trainer and Gymbox creative class consultant.

The workout is aimed at boosting cardiovascular fitness over a 60-minute period.

Free running and martial arts movements from the video game have influenced those featured in the workout.

Unique Spring Energie platforms and replica Light Discs from the TRON universe are used in Tronjitsu.

It is set to the music of Daft Punk's Derezzed, which is on the TRON: Evolution game.

Gym buffs will be able to get involved in the 60-minute workout from tomorrow. It will be held weekly at Gymbox's Bank studio until January.

TRON: Evolution is released in the US on December 7th. TRON: Legacy, which is the movie accompanying the video game, will hit screens in the UK on December 17th.

The action-adventure flick stars Jeff Bridges, Olivia Wilde and Garrett Hedlund. It tells the story of a virtual-world worker who tries to take down the Master Control Programme.

Wow! A Daft Punk workout? Sign me up!

Seriously they should make a workout video in costume with CGI sets.

I bet Tron Guy would go all Jared in 3 months.

Pop culture reference quota exceeded.

End of line.

Of course! - Drunk Monk - 01-26-2011

The traditional roots of pole dancing come from India then spread through China as kung fu and then on to Japan and the world. This is cover story material if I can just find the right pole dancer. My research begins...

Mighty Jarree Indeed - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 01-26-2011

Is this one of those sexist pursuits or are there woman pole dancers as well? Because women pole dancers might have applications here in the United States. (Come on. some one had to go there)
I'll come do the photo shoot when you find your subject.

I don't think that would be a good idea.

This one is only good if you go to YouTube - Drunk Monk - 02-11-2011

You have to view the page and read the subtext, which is why I'm not embedding the YouTube vid like usual.
