Saturday starts with Kung Fu like always. My right hip is bothering me since iaido. Maybe I pulled something getting up from all that squatting. Maybe I’m just getting old. Sigh.
Thinking about doing the chowder fest at the boardwalk this afternoon. Tonight there’s some friend in town, in cbrite no less, so I’m going to try to hook up with them and see their new baby.

I’m glad the tasters kit is only 6 tiny cups of chowder. I feel so bloated. All those clams have combined in my belly.

As soon as I finish my tea, I’m making a quick trip to Ace for some odds and ends for sauna finishing touches (wtf are carpenters all using those 6 point star screws nowadays?) then yoga then work (swap day for YMAA) then a telemeet with some lightsaber folk.

Annoying. I’ve had to get new bits to accommodate. And unlike a Phillips, the size must be exact. It feels like carpenters use them just to f with non-carpenters. Carpenters are such asshats.

In a weird piece of synchronicity the Westwood Post-Acute care center is where my sister started her nursing career back in the 1970s as a candy striper back when the place was called the Westgate Convalescent Home.
There is a woman across the hall from my mother's room constantly screaming for her pills.

Back at Lynch Castle. I was given the okay to take all the leftover whiskey and distribute it to the needy. Score!
Except. All the whiskey is gone except for a half full bottle of some whiskey from India. I should probably give that to DM for his birthday. The rest is liqueurs and Damiano. It's a nightmare in the booze cabinet. There is one bottle of Dom from 1983 in there...

What’s the name of that Indian whiskey? Some Indian whiskeys are well rated. I’ve never tried one but there are some distinguished top shelf whiskeys from India. It was trending several years ago but I never ventured there.
