RE: Doom Dogs - Greg - 08-22-2023 After further consideration, I think you are absolutely right. Why don't you go to your local shelter and pick me out a bunch of puppies that you think would be a good fit for the Lair. Hold on to them until I come down to pick them up. I'll be there soon. Very, very soon RE: Doom Dogs - Greg - 08-26-2023 Standing vigil over Maeve. Waiting for the doctor to come. RE: Doom Dogs - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 08-26-2023 I'm sorry, my friend. RE: Doom Dogs - Drunk Monk - 08-26-2023 Ironically today is national dog day. Hope everything goes smoothly. Reach out if there’s anything I can do. I’ll burn some incense when word is given. Is Cindi still on the road? RE: Doom Dogs - Greg - 08-26-2023 That National Dog Day thing is hurting. Maeve left us at 10am The Queen is in Montana. RE: Doom Dogs - Drunk Monk - 08-26-2023 Deepest condolences. As beautiful as the rainbow bridge is, it’s always hard when invoked. One of the hardest calls I ever had to make was to tell Tara that her cat wasn’t going to make it through the night when she was away in a two-month immersion program in Oaxaca. That was unexpected. Hope it went better when you broke the news to Cindi. RE: Doom Dogs - King Bob - 08-26-2023 So sorry to hear that. It's a hard one. RE: Doom Dogs - Greg - 08-30-2023 On the flip side, just steamed cleaned the carpet because the devil decided the mud puddle in the garden would look much better in the hallway. RE: Doom Dogs - Drunk Monk - 08-30-2023 Saw tQ's fb pix. Lol. We have one of these: ![]() Doesn't work at all. But we have one. RE: Doom Dogs - Greg - 08-30-2023 Good to know. RE: Doom Dogs - Drunk Monk - 08-30-2023 Yeah, don’t waste your money on those. They look cool but trying to convince Yuki to put his paws in it is tough, and then they don’t do the job that well. We use those disposable wipes, kinda like baby wipes but for dog paws. They work a little better but getting mud out from between toes is always a hassle. Usually we just leave him out in the yard until it dries and shakes off. RE: Doom Dogs - Greg - 08-30-2023 I had just looked out into the yard at the devil and had decided there was no rush going out there to drain a puddle that fills after the sprinklers had sprinkled. The next thing I heard was the Queen screaming at the devil. I looked into the hallway where the devil stood with mud up to her elbows surrounded by muddy paw prints. She had gone into the Queen's office and put those same paws on the Queen's chest. RE: Doom Dogs - Drunk Monk - 08-30-2023 Yeah, I doubt those wipes would help for that either… RE: Doom Dogs - Greg - 08-30-2023 So much mud. RE: Doom Dogs - thatguy - 08-30-2023 The rescue doggos in Lahaina had little booties on to protect their paws while traipsing thru the rubble. If you got the fur babies used to those, you could make them put on their booties when they go outside and take them off in the mudroom...You do have a mudroom, don't you? It's a room in your house, specifically for keeping mud... --tg |
