I've been having major tingling in my palms for some time now. I've gone through a complete blood panel, RSI tests, and an EMG. Nerve conductivity tests are unpleasant - they basically electrocute all your funny bones in your arms making your hands jump like a dead frog on a dissection platter. It was amusing at first but grew tiresome when the shocks got upwards of several dozen.
Turns out my nerves are good - better than most. My diabetes is too minor for neuropathy. My grip strength is good and it's not an artifact of my arthritis because that's unilateral and this is bilateral. I'm told if symptoms continue, to pursue more tests. Yeah, right.

Mystery illness, for the win!
Nerves are fun. I have dead patch on my left thigh. The doctor gave it a cool name, but I can't remember it. It could have been caused by years of wearing a tool belt which pinched off that nerve at the hip bone.

It has some cool medical name the neurologist gave it ending in 'sia' like all the cool neurologist names.
So, when I'm at parties, I can say I have neuroastemisia or something, and people can all be awed by the cool problem I have that a neurologist gave a name to.

I was thinking I should change my DOOMoniker to Tingle Palms, but it made me melancholy for my late dog, Jingle Pom. Plus Tee-Pee ain't the greatest initials. Better than Erectile-Dysfunction, I suppose. But we all bow down to Pee-Pee-eFf-whY.

It's more like the temperature. Sometimes nice and melty. Sometimes a little too chunky. Sometimes burnt to a crisp.

Actually, Mr. Tingle achieved fames several years back when they tried to game the voting system at the Hugos and his name came up and got on the ballot to win a Hugo.
