I went to Kaiser for the Flu shot. I received my Booster courtesy of Madera County Health Department. I did miss out on the Von's 10% off coupon, but getting it out of the way was worth the $20

My arms are still sore from both shots. Other than that, all is good. Except for the fact Covid cases are on the rise in my bright Red Town. They canceled a church service in town because it's too dangerous to gather. Madera County has one of the lowest rates of vaccination in the state. We are at about 50%. Although, the town has spent the fall having large in person gatherings. They has a men's night and a women's night. One guy puts on a movie screening. Last Saturday they had a fund raising gathering for the fire fighters. Pictures from the events shows pretty much everyone without masks. It's a wonder the town isn't dead.
And then I go on the Raymond FB page and someone has declared it's the vaccine that causes Covid.....

I had no problems with COVID vax shot 1 or 2, flu, or Shingrix 1 or 2. COVID Booster has knocked me on my ass. I feel like the Hulk mistook me for Loki. I’m told I’ll be fine tomorrow.

Shannon got hers yesterday and is feeling a bit crummy today (achy, headaches). I suspect I’ll feel it tomorrow. We both got Pfizer at CVS pharmacy in the local Target. Filling out the forms to make the appointment was like buying a house.
My mom finally got an appointment scheduled for 12/12, and it’s Moderna (she got Pfizer for the previous two). If anyone knows of places doing walk up Pfizer near Cupertino, let me know. I’d like to help her get one sooner.

I got Pfizer via CVS. Reserved online. No coupons or stickers tho.
Interesting observation on jabbed v shot. May have to poach that.
Stacy has a similar reaction as tQ. My mom had no side effects whatsoever.

I did CVS online reservation, and they gave no option on vaccine for my chosen time. i got Maderna this time but no bad reaction.

Just got a Pfizer booster to top off my Moderna regimen. Been a half hour and I'm feeling great. There'll be no side effects this time around, no-sir-eee. I'm invincible!
And Safeway gave me a scannable coupon for 10% off my next grocery purchase up to $200.
I may load up on bananas.

While I had the Moderna-Moderna-Pfizer regimen (the booster through Safeway on Dec. 2), LCF went the Pfizer-Pfizer-Moderna route (booster through Costco on Dec. 7 [yesterday]).
My side effects for the booster were negligible: mild headache, slight chill, slightly sore arm.
LCF's side effects are worse: headache, sore throat, and noticeably sore arm.
Just so you know...

I was triple Moderna with no side effects except sore arm.
tQ felt sick for a day. Triple pfizer.
