The Million Dollar theater must’ve been spectacular in its day. Such commanding pageantry and architecture.
Now it’s a run down house, stained, chipped and broken. Kinda creepy, possibly haunted. It would take millions to restore it. I hope DTLA finds that money someday.

Filmed in there for Dreamgirls. Broadway used to be lined with fabulous movie palaces, the Million Dollar Theater only one of them.

Monday = 2 telemeets, laundry & dog parkn.
Usually Monday returns to the default world suck, but this one is a bit of a relief. As much as I cherish the Shaolin zone, it’s exhausting to have to keep my guard up in that social martial way so long.

Had a nice phone chat with Tara. Today is her 24th birthday. She did well on her midterms - above average on all of them when she thought she did below average so it was a good confidence boost. She said it was largely due to her writing skills - a professor commented that even though she didn’t know the answer completely, her writing made up for it. I’ve always told her she’s a solid writer. So proud.
