Brekkies with H, then at the shop with my Henchman all day as we get the new POS (Square) ready. I've hired Hench for the week as he quit his horrible day job and is waiting for job offers from less horrible companies.
By the end of the day he had 2 offers. He's a really good kid.

YMAA telemeeting first thing, then work as usual, then over to my mom to set up a virtual interview with an insurance nurse in hopes that we can get some money out of one of her many insurance policies, then a scheduled overdue phone chat with an old friend.

Yesterday's virtual nurse interview was rough. My mom couldn't hear most of it and the nurse kept making dumb jokes and talking about himself. This went on for an hour and a half. So annoying.
Today we have an appointment with the DMV. Stacy is going to help with that one because it is a daunting chore. My mom's driver's license expired after she stopped driving, and now she needs a new photo ID for us to get certain banking tasks resolved. This is the last appointment after 3 weeks of appointments, each progressively worse.
Then home for work. Stacy has some clients over here. Our dog walkers are supposed to be by but they've been doing some last minute cancellations adjusting to their new school schedule.

Today is the day for the national emergency alert system test. At 2:20pm ET (11:20am PT) every mobile phone, as well as TV, and radio station will have a collective "oh shit" practice moment.

That still startled me. I was thinking 2:20 PST.
DMV was amazingly courteous and efficient. My mom was moved to the front of the line, and all the workers were very attentive. Our appointment was for 9:10, and we got there when it opened at 9 (the one near El Camino & Lawrence) and it was already packed. But we were in and out in about 20 mins. After three weeks of annoying appointments, it was good to finish on a positive note.
Good luck with the D00M dental. I have dental insurance for the first time in years and I have yet to take advantage of it. Stacy has and she loves it. We get like 4 free cleanings a year. I should really schedule something because I think I've gone only once during the pandemic...

After action report:
I brushed too hard and now my gums are receding, much like everything else but my belly. Since it has been so long, I have to go back for four more cleanings each for a different section of my mouth. They did a rough cleaning today which released boulder size pieces of plaque.

Do you have dental coverage, either of you dealing with D00M dental issues? I got dental now under YMAA but I’ve yet to use it. I really should.
Today is two telemeets where I anticipate an update on the home office new warehouse issues. Then work. Then iaido.
