It's been five years since the last book. He's got two or three more to go. The last release date was some time in 2008. Ha!

There are now competing websites deriding and lauding Martin. I think it was Neil Gaiman who came out and said "George R. R. Martin is not your bitch" They even made T-shirts.

Ha! The book can also double as a door stop. Still in no rush to start "Dance with Dragons" because I know I need to re-read the whole damn series at this point.

Dance with Dragons still sits unread on my shelf. But they have just posted a chapter from Winds of Winter online, his next book. The final book should be the one after that.

I'm still not biting. I'll read them when the series is done. Shut up, Lucy, I'm not kicking the ball.
