Re: A Feast for Crows by George RR Martin - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 11-29-2009 Alright, you bastards - I started Game of Thrones. I hope you all are happy. It is pretty f*cking good so far. Re: A Feast for Crows by George RR Martin - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 11-29-2009 SUCKER!!!! It's been five years since the last book. He's got two or three more to go. The last release date was some time in 2008. Ha! There are now competing websites deriding and lauding Martin. I think it was Neil Gaiman who came out and said "George R. R. Martin is not your bitch" They even made T-shirts. Good times. Re: A Feast for Crows by George RR Martin - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 09-28-2011 For the Martin fans who despair.
Re: A Feast for Crows by George RR Martin - cranefly - 10-04-2011 A writer friend posted this: http://shunn.livejournal.com/535617.html Re: A Feast for Crows by George RR Martin - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 10-04-2011 Ha! The book can also double as a door stop. Still in no rush to start "Dance with Dragons" because I know I need to re-read the whole damn series at this point. Winds of Winter - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 03-27-2014 Dance with Dragons still sits unread on my shelf. But they have just posted a chapter from Winds of Winter online, his next book. The final book should be the one after that. I'm still not biting. I'll read them when the series is done. Shut up, Lucy, I'm not kicking the ball. Re: A Feast for Crows by George RR Martin - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 03-27-2014 Not only am I waiting for the whole damn series to be out, I'm going to buy them used and deny him -- DENY!! -- my meager royalty. Take that, Martin! I'll show you! Re: A Feast for Crows by George RR Martin - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 03-27-2014 Buy them? Don't you think you might have a silly friend who could loan you his copies? Re: A Feast for Crows by George RR Martin - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 03-27-2014 Said friend lives in Mordor and one does not just walk into Mordor. Re: A Feast for Crows by George RR Martin - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 03-27-2014 That is why we all have cars. |
