A bit of a weaker Ep - almost a filler. There’s a night fight that was hard to see because it was night. The Clint Katniss bromance (not quite the right term here) goes on. Still enjoyable tho. It’s the best Xmas special going.

Will they or won't they. It was definitely a pause. Nice to finally see what we were supposed to see. There is kind of an Eternals call out. I do like the LARPers.

It was a pretty weak episode. Lots of sitting at tables talking. I guessed the twist. There also has been a lot of chatter on the internet about the big bad so that wasn't much of a surprise. Hopefully next week's episode will be really long.

I liked Hawkeye v Echo and the girls night over macaroni. Didn't find it that weak - more like set up - but I get you.
There's just something that happens in the new Spidey movie that links this to another cameo of another adversary of ... okay, well, not going to spoil it. But it's cool. Very cool.

Wilson Fisk - Marvel's biggest crime boss. A major villain for Hawkeye, DareDevil and Spidey.

Mockingbird was Hawkeye's wife in the comics. I confess that I looked that one up.
KP is portrayed by the same actor who played him in Netflix's DareDevil, thus bringing him into the MCU fold.

KP is one of Spiderman's big opponents as well. He was portrayed really well in Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse.
You might remember Vincent Dinofrio from Full Metal Jacket. He played Private Pyle.

Oooooh good one on Pyle. I didn’t put that together but it’s so obvs.
Bringing him into Hawkeye using the same actor is a significant acknowledgement of Netflix Daredevil which has been out of MCU canon (weird Marvel rights - Spidey’s rights are also weird with Sony v Disney but we don’t want to get into spoilers now, do we?) It’s a big play really. The fanbase went nuts over it. KP originated in Spidey comics.
