Got a follow up email from the interview asking to see some of my writing. With 92 cover stories and 227 feature articles on the web, that was easy to answer quickly. I cherry-picked five and sent them the story indexes.

I use Adblock, by the way. I was vaguely suspicious of it when I couldn't see a subscribe button. Today I tried pausing Adblock for your site. Upon doing refresh, there was the Subscribe button in all its heavenly glory. (Can't believe I wasted so much time looking at the finger.) Which I clicked.
Why the hell does Adblock block it? There's likely a good many other folk using Adblock, some of whom would like to join your stab club.
P.S. I also use Tampermonkey, which is an anti-Adblock killer -- which means that when a site tries to override Adblock, it steps in and kills the attempt. Sometimes it works, sometimes not, but it adds another layer of complexity that could be affecting the Subscribe button.

What do you want to do? There are plenty of free plug-ins to do the majority of the work. Is it design help? I'm probably not the best for that. But I can make the thing work.

I don’t really know what I want to do with it. I suppose that’s an issue. It’s just a receptacle to post stuff now. I want to keep it minimalistic.
