Watched this on my iPhone on my messed up Alaska airline flight to Mexico without sound (no pods) reading teeny subtitles. I think that’s the only way to watch this. 

The franchise has totally lost it. The Sly/Statham bromance is clipped (Sly is barely in this). Dolph is underused. Megan is sillier than sexy. The big fight is Uwais v Jaa but both are past their prime and the match is underwhelming. 

Yes there’s lots of explosions, machismo, and pointless fights. Plenty of attempts at witty quips but nothing lands. Such a waste of hasbeens and ultravi.

Not D00M recommended.
