Random moment from last night : a dude runs up to table service and desperately says ‘what do I do about a brain freeze?’ Dm quips ‘hold your genitals and jump up and down until it stops’. He does it. It works (because brain freezes stop soon enough). He’s like ‘wow! Thanks!’ Dm’s table service partner says ‘I’ve never heard of that.’ Dm sez ‘Just made it up.’ Dm’s partner nearly passes out from laughing so hard.

I’m kinda bummed that I didn’t make note of the nooB vol that recognized Daniel. I don’t even remember her face now. On the flip side, I showed some of the women at Tiger Claw and they just gushed. One gal is from Hong Kong and she just swoons and fangirls whenever I mention him.
It’s all about DM’s celeb cred staying sharp.

Wu-Tang rolled through last Friday. It was Oracle, and RM did NOT have offer the gig (we don't work every show there anymore). I was thinking of reaching out to RZA. I don't know why. He always blows me off now. I reached out to Daniel Wu and he said RZA always blows him off too, so he probably wasn't going to go. I kinda lost momentum. Plus I'm a little paranoid about going to big gatherings right now, not because of coronavirus, but because of this nasty flu going around. I could work KISS in two weeks. At Oracle. It's a Friday and I could go after work. But nah. Don't want to be in a big crowd right now, no more than I need to, seen?

I'm thinking that very soon, possibly within a couple weeks, staying clear of crowds because of the coronavirus will be an excellent idea.

Didn't really have any plans to leave the house for the next couple of months. Then again, I might not go see the Wu-Tang Clan (especially without ODB) if they were playing in the workshop.

I just read that on my newsfeed. Such a trippy story that has been. Brilliant because it achieve the art status to which it aspires with the soap opera around it. Glad to see it continue to deliver.
