Shortly before the Big Sur wildfires (like a few hours before, but DM denies any involvement), the DM clan took a short vacation at a cabin in Big Sur. It was the first beach trip for the pom and we took a school friend of T's along for the adventure. We stopped at this truck stop/stores/swimming pool in Big Sur on hwy 1, the one that's been shown in the news lately. Now, the pom has poop issues being so fuzzy. It has this little butt-wiping move where it pulls itself along with it's front paws as it's rear legs are forward in the air, scraping its butt clean on the ground. It's cute, of course, like only a pom can be cute wiping it's butt, but naturally, we yell at it when it tries to do it in the house. Well, the travel affected the poor pom's digestive system and it was a bit runny, so it did the drag move in the freakin' dirt and mrs. dm and dm looked at each other in shock. uh oh. Now what? The pom had this nasty dreadlock dangling off it's ass. Little did DM know that it was a prophesy of the weekend ahead (see the SNWMF thread in the music forum). We found a nice creek behind the truck stop/stores/swimming pool, where everyone was hanging out, sitting on lounge chairs in the water, cooling their feet. We took the pom and the girls there and hung out, as dm kept pushing the pom's butt in the creek, rinsing it clean. nasty.

Dog's have glands on their asses that need to be emptied. One of the ways they do this is with the ass drag. If they don't empty them, somebody has to expectorate them for the dogs. Have fun, DM!
