I got some taxes done but was really inefficient yesterday.
895-187: Happy New Year! I’m doing laundry and some cleaning chores whilst trying to stay dry from the storm. Then tonight, a friend has a hook up for me at the China Cats NYE show at the Vets Hall downtown, where we do yoga. Still sorting the details (typical deadhead hippie style)
It’s a strange replay of 2016. Kaskade is at BGC but I don’t want to go to SF in this storm so it’s China Cats, a dead cover band. I could walk to the venue (but probably won’t with the rain). Here’s 2016 http://www.brotherhoodofdoom.com/doomForum/showthread.php?tid=3962

896/188: Broke in my new yoga mat today. That's the last in person yoga class with our instructor for two weeks because she's leading a retreat soon. We grabbed a quick lunch at Cafe Delmarette, then Stacy headed to a client in half moon bay, while I went home to take Yuki for a walk. Then I wiped down the bungalow with disinfectant and headed to svale, where I am now. I'll stay here for a few days, at least until it's clear that I'm not infected by the plague.
Did some post storm clean up in my mom's yard. It was calming.
Maybe I'll do a bit of work. Maybe not. I've got the pot of dal and will be holed up here apart from a visit to my mom tomorrow. Assuming I don't show symptoms, I'll probably be here until hump day or so...

Eating boozy-chocolates, swilling coffee, finally out for a stroll in the cold sunshine, stopping for a gnosh at a French place in my fancy-ass neighborhood, waiting for friends to visit (out here on a brief vacay, they just canceled due to illness — I hope they make their flight tomorrow). Recharging at home, then going out again for a burger & a beer.
Tomorrow: Mexi-Breakfast with more visiting out-of-towners
