Is the following story cringe worthy? I told tQ and she found out off-putting.
I was stapling some frames together with a staple gun. One of the staples hit a knot and came out of the wood and into my thumb. It probably would have gone all the way through my thumb except it hit the underside of my thumbnail.

I'm with the Yeti. Dirt has been liberally applied.
I think we have about 32 cases in Madera County. I get a lot of negativity in the feeds about Covid here in Red Country. Lots of conspiracy talk. All these people dying died from other causes, etc. I want to leave my house. Blah Blah Blah

I don't know what is going on with my cursor fail on my *new* Surface Pro with Chrome but it's fuckin annoyin.
DAY 51: Got to file with EDD today and come off UI for the next two months. Hopefully I'll find something in that time so I won't have to go back on - looking at what now? 14% unemployment? So grim.
Other than that, today is more resume fine-tuning, more Tiger Claw proposals and KFTC closure tasks, figuring out WordPress more, and getting some sleep aids.

So how was the cocktails?
I made a quick mission to the drug store to get some melatonin, tp and towels, and then to the hardware store which was packed to get some coarse sandpaper to redo a cabinet and butcher block.
Finished my TC stuff for today, although I might check in with Patrick on some stuff. Maybe I'll chip on that resume.
The missing cursor is really annoying.

One of my JNK friends, Wendy, walked past the bungalow with her friend. We commuted to RotR together in 2017 and it was great (http://www.brotherhoodofdoom.com/doomForum/showthread.php?tid=490&pid=26276#pid26276). She asked 'how's it going?' and I told her I just lost my job on 20 years. She was sympathetic. She teaches alter-able kids and 3 other teachers in her group were let go, but she was kept because she has seniority. Seniority - ha. I had fuckin seniority. Now she's only teaching 3 hours a day via telecommuting, and making more money than usual. Glad it worked out for her. It was good to see a friend and remember good times, and also promise to stay in touch for future adventures...but we'll see about how all that might happen. We'll just see.

My appetite was a bit improved today. Still feeling cold, probably due to exhaustion. The anxiety levels are reduced or maybe I'm just attenuating to it...or I've just run out of adrenaline. I just wacthed two dvds to take my mind off things and felt drowsy during both. I just dropped some melatonin. It's starting to kick in. Hoping for some sleep tonight.
