RE: Mercury in Retrograde - Greg - 01-16-2023 Jumpy, jumpy. Driving me crazy. I tried resetting the size and that didn't help. I'm using Safari for the jumping but I suspect you use Chrome? No problems on the LiePhone. RE: Mercury in Retrograde - Drunk Monk - 01-16-2023 I'm using Safari too. And I also have no issues with the LIEphone. Haven't checked it out on chrome... RE: Mercury in Retrograde - Greg - 01-16-2023 So much jumpy. RE: Mercury in Retrograde - Drunk Monk - 01-16-2023 It's maddening, right? Because you think you can just scroll back or forward to get past it, and then, jumpy jump, you're somewhere else... RE: Mercury in Retrograde - Greg - 01-16-2023 Completely frustrating. Just as you are about to click like on something, the page moves and you find you've clicked on something else and you are on another page. Good times. I'm going to look for more solutions to the problem. One suggested cache clearing. RE: Mercury in Retrograde - Drunk Monk - 01-16-2023 Brown out. Shut down my wifi and cut out the movie I was watching. RE: Mercury in Retrograde - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 01-16-2023 Yes, my FB page has been doing the same thing, getting jumpy and annoying. Mostly when I use my iPad. I guess I should try FIrefox and see if that helps. Of course it has now stopped misbehaving. RE: Mercury in Retrograde - Greg - 01-18-2023 On my FB page, the jumping has departed. RE: Mercury in Retrograde - Drunk Monk - 01-18-2023 Mine too. Well, this is the last day of merc in retro, so there you have it - pudding proof. We can reconvene back here on Apr 21... RE: Mercury in Retrograde - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 01-18-2023 Mine got fixed on Jan 17th, giving the lie to the merc-retro bullshit. RE: Mercury in Retrograde - Drunk Monk - 01-19-2023 And then my fire alarm went off randomly. Nothing seems to be burning. I checked. Stupid fire alarm. RE: Mercury in Retrograde - Greg - 01-19-2023 At least the rain has passed, right? Except for the shower I found myself in during the morning walk. RE: Mercury in Retrograde - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 01-19-2023 Totally merc-in-ret weather RE: Mercury in Retrograde - Greg - 01-23-2023 Bright Sunday morning, my phone decided it no longer wanted to be a fun. Rather, it would prefer to be an inert hunk of metal and glass. I pressed all the buttons to try and retrieve the iPhone from wherever it had gone. Nope. It just made my fingers sore from pressing. I'm heading out to Oakhurst today to get a replacement. But the experience did make me ask myself whether I could live without my phone. The answer is I can't. If you want it to turn on, you are just being greedy. --tg |
