714: Work & furniture moving. We’re getting some new carpet installed tomorrow so the living room & bedroom must be clear and I’m behind on some work tasks (mostly due to approval delays).

Today I had a meeting about the new "maker lab" for Art and Design. I'm going to be in there one day a week, and managing the student assistants. I don't really want to manage students, but I'll get access to a laser cutter and 3D printer, so it should be worth it. I just need to learn how to use them.
As a bonus, the guy I met with has his office in the Hammer Theater, and he gave me a tour of all the backstage areas.

Good point on red lasers. Makes me think of rifle scope laser dots and playing with cats. Kb you’ll have to tell us what color it is. Looking forward to some 3d kb art.
