it occurred to me the other day that the days of the week are just some mass hallucination that we all have decided to agree upon.
time of day: loosely related to where in its arc the sun is in the sky
day of month: loosely related to the phase of the moon in the sky
day of year: loosely related to where the sun rises and sets, and how high it gets in the sky
day of the week: historical and/or religious BS detached from any physical reality.

In San Diego. Left Monday and spent the night with Christina's brother in Bakersfield, a town I can't recommend. Got here Tuesday. Spent some time today trying to fix Christina's mother's phone but had to order a warranty replacement. Hitting the art museum tomorrow while the ladies hit the spa.
