RE: Cats of DOOM - Drunk Monk - 07-09-2020 ummmm broken images. ...like my heart. RE: Cats of DOOM - cranefly - 07-09-2020 Let me guess. Mercury is still in reverse around the planet Retrograde. Google drive is messing with me. Will be a bit yet. RE: Cats of DOOM - Greg - 07-10-2020 Congratulations on getting a heart, DM! RE: Cats of DOOM - cranefly - 07-10-2020 Images fixed. Maybe... RE: Cats of DOOM - Greg - 07-10-2020 1 for 2. So close. RE: Cats of DOOM - cranefly - 07-10-2020 2 for 2 now? If there's 20 ways to do something wrong, it'll take me 21 tries. At least. RE: Cats of DOOM - Drunk Monk - 07-10-2020 We have Halvahs. Yay. Coffee cat was worth the wait. RE: Cats of DOOM - Greg - 07-10-2020 One of the hacks I sometimes use when I don't feel like adding the photo to the server is post it on Facebook and just use the link from there. RE: Cats of DOOM - Drunk Monk - 07-10-2020 Those will expire however. Facebook has this algorithm where it swaps out all its link addresses at some point. I used to post fb album pix on the KFM forum, only to discover that all those links were broken later. Twitter is more robust. Instagram even more so but you gotta slog through the code to find the link and I haven't been able to find it since the last time they buried it. RE: Cats of DOOM - Greg - 07-10-2020 Dammit. RE: Cats of DOOM - Drunk Monk - 07-10-2020 you been zucked RE: Cats of DOOM - thatguy - 07-13-2020 Respect the death blades! https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EYf5w5xXsAEtNr5?format=jpg&name=large --tg RE: Cats of DOOM - Greg - 07-21-2020 I got five of the ferals neutered today, four kittens and Fainí. It went pretty smooth. Each cat had to have it's own individual traps so we borrowed them from the neighbors. The cost for the the neutering was $60 each which is about half of what they were going to charge me at my regular vet. I drove the hour down to Fresno to a clinic that specializes in spaying and neutering called H.O.P.E. Foundation. I thought I was going to have to do two days worth of trips but they finished everything up by 3pm so I made two round trips to Fresno Monday. The biggest hiccup was having a brush fire on the ramp to the freeway. They had just closed the ramp when I got there. I had to make a u-turn on the onramp and then head two miles south on the freeway before I could get an entrance back onto the freeway going north. I now have 9 of the cats fixed. That leaves the three Toms and one more female, Mia. I can't get Mia fixed until October because she just had another litter. She's the mom who abandoned her kittens and they all disappeared. She got pregnant again immediately. She gave birth on July fourth under my deck. I couldn't tell how big that litter was but I think it was only one kitten. I don't think it survived because I haven't caught a glimpse of it in about a week. Although Mia continues to hang out under the deck and her teats aren't swollen. Onward. RE: Cats of DOOM - Drunk Monk - 07-21-2020 Good work on those five. That must’ve been quite a ride. RE: Cats of DOOM - Greg - 07-21-2020 Actually, they were quite quiet. The only mewing was from Cordelia who couldn't stand up in her cage. |
