629: Still playing catch up at work. Hoping to free up the holiday weekend a little more. Plus today we’re getting our new washer delivered. And I have to tend to my mom’s bank and medical issues.a busy Monday.

630: Busy day. I’m taking Yuki to the vet to get his ear checked. He’s been shaking his head and favoring it. I have a ymaa teleconference then I must leave immediately to take my mom to one of her banks and get some financials in order. Then mom chores. Plus I’m still behind at work. Been hoping to clear the holiday but the chance of that is looking slim. I’ll likely need it to catch up.

Yuki was diagnosed with allergies. Dogs and their owners do start resembling each other/
One banking issue of my mom’s resolved. Having POA is very helpful
631: 2 teleconferences back2back to make up for tomorrow’s holiday. Then more mom chores (she has a lot this week - been doing chores since I got here yesterday) then home for work. I’m going to have to work this weekend to catch up. Holidays mean so much less to me since the pandemic. At least I’ll have tomorrow with family.

632: T-day. Stacy, Yuki & I are meeting Tara, Bri & Bottles at my mom’s. We bought food and will bring it including 3 types of gravy, meat, veg & gluten free. Everyone has different dietary restrictions. The only unrestricted person is my mom.
Then home to watch TV. Lots to watch now. I crave distraction.

633: Black Friday. Tara spent the night here but went off to visit friends and Stacy had clients so I got some work done but only a little. Tara came back in the afternoon between meetings and we hung out for an hour until I took Yuki to the park. Then Stacy & I watched Get Back e2.

Man, I’m just trying to get some work done and my phone is blowing up about various issues from friends that seem to think I can provide some sort of psych aid (4 separate situations, 3 medical, 2 hospital) then a dog and cat poops right in front of me while I’m trying to take a lunch break and now my neighbor’s house is issuing a ton of smoke. Wtf?

He was burning leaves in his backyard. But it was an impressive plume.
I imagine you heard about Richard Vitor. Rann called me. I didn’t really know Richard. I had to search the web to find an image to jog my memory. That was one of the medicals.
Another was a dear JM friend who had his gall bladder removed on Black Friday. It was packed with stones. He’s home recovering. Another was a JM padawan who freaked out on me and started texting me all sorts of accusations that I betrayed her (I didn’t unless ignoring counts). The other was an RM vol who I haven’t spoken to in years. Her sister has long covid, lost her job, and is having paranoid delusions. Like wth am I supposed to do about that? I swear, people project all sorts of mystic wisdom bs on me.
I’m glad D00M knows the true DM.
