I wasn’t impressed by their tacos. I felt they were overpriced. Mind you, that was before the pandemic.
Jon chose Pizza my heart. I know, I know, he’s just starting his junior year at UCSC. His new place is a tiny unit in the building next to that sketch liquor store on Laurel & Pacific. It’s got a shared bathroom, which will suck for showering. Seven tiny units up there. He basically has a kitchen and a bedroom the faces the street. It’ll be a learning experience.
Great to see brothers Jeff & Don. I miss those guys. Jerome was originally planning to join us but their plans changed so we hope to reunite later and include him.

I got a slice of deluxe veggie & a slice of pesto, with a coconut lemonade. It was satisfying but I miss that sprinkle toppings rack (closed due to covid).

550: Yesterday’s allergy attack took me out. Haven’t had one that bad in a long time, not since before the pandemic. Stacy had a tub at the Well, and we took Yuki, and that cleared me, but I passed out from exertion afterwards when we got home.
Consequently I was unable to pack so now I’ll have to do that today between telemeets. I also could not check in due to the way the ticket was purchased so I’m hoping to cut out early of my last meeting and head over. Today got more stressful than it needs to be. My allergirs are my curse.

551: Totally off topic. No way I can claim sheltering in place here in sin city. Damn. Past midnight already. And I was thinking of crashing early yesterday. Feckin Vegas. Time is so distorted here.
Tomorrow I have to get my credentials, which opens at 8 I think. It’s at the Grand on the other side of Fremont st. I’ll grab some breaky somewhere and head to the venue. Call isn’t until noon but I want to get in early and get the lay of the land. I’m totally disoriented as to where everything is in relation to where I am now. Vegas is so discombobulating. I feel hypersensitive to all the stimuli after being a covid hermit for so long.
Gonna try to sleep. Vegas isn’t good that way. I should pop a melatonin.
