Holmes is a young gymnast stuntman who became Radcliffe’s stunt double for Harry Potter and suffers a tragic accident irl - which you can surely glean from the trailer. He’s just a few years older than Radcliffe and becomes his trainer for stunts, so Radcliffe grows up with him and two other stunt men, also around the same age, as mates. It’s tragic and heartwarming. The accident happens during a pre-vis and it seems pretty freakish. The procedures Holmes must endure to stay alive are intense. There’s lots of bts footage, and some revelations on how the accident affected the cast and production. Holmes accepts his fate as part of the job, and turns it around to become a spokesperson and charitable figure. Inspiring. I was engrossed in its take on stunts and fascinated by Radcliffe’s comments on his life and how this accident changed him. 

A perfect airplane movie because it doesn’t require too much attention nor a large screen. Recommended for those D00M flyers:
