I'm in exciting Cambria. It could be exciting. I don't think I will find out. But I can see the ocean through the trees at the house where I am staying.
I am here to help on a docudrama about Father Serra. The organization the my father is the president of in the US is helping to partially fund the project and my father mentioned to the guy running the project, Jim Kelty, that I was a filmmaker. I had hoped that would be the last of it. But not so much. I guess he felt obligated to pick me up for a day. So, here I am.
Tomorrow, we head off to the hills to shoot Father Serra's journey through the hills and his meeting with the indians. I'm sitting in Kelty's house at the moment as Kelty and his team of two rush to finish last minute preparations.
