I saw him at the sunset center in carmel a few years ago. Someone we knew had tickets, but couldn’t go. It was meh, IMHO.

Nevertheless, his contribution was worthy. Perhaps he soured with age. Wouldn't be the first.

Reading his bio, I knew he was in Traffic, but didn't know he played on All Things Must Pass and Electric Ladyland. I remember he had a small comeback with a minor hit in the 80s because there was a video when MTV didn't have that many videos, but I don't remember the song at all. His big solo hit was "We Just Disagree" but someone else in his band wrote it. I guess he was a good player but not much of a songwriter.

He played on Hendrick's version of "All Along the Watchtower"
