James L. Brooks directs this movie about a Lt. Governor and her chance to be Governor only problems surround her and the job is in peril.
Great cast. Excited to see a new Brooks movie. Not his best work though. Felt like a throwback to movies of the 90s with its silly emphasis on character and plot. Where are the sword fights? Where are the CGI effects? None of that. Just people in situations where they are talking about the problems they face and how they deal with them. Weird.
The Queen really liked this. I felt it was fine.
