Seven Dials (2026) - Greg - 01-21-2026

An Agony Christie mystery with neither Marple or Poirot as the lead detective. After a big party at a falling down mansion in the English countryside, one of the guests does not wake up. It's either a suicide or death by misadventure. But Lady Ellen thinks otherwise. The man in question who died had scheduled a date with her for the following week. Lady Ellen wants to find out what happened. But her investigations lead to threats and other people dying around her.

Helena Bonham Carter plays Lady Ellen's mum. Martin Freeman plays an investigator trying to get Lady Ellen to stop.

A little slow at the moment. I'm two episodes in at the moment with only one left to go. There is more a sense of solving a mystery than there was in the latest Knives Out mystery.

Probably a good show for fans of Masterpiece theater.

Been thinking about watching this, mostly for Helena.

RE: Seven Dials (2026) - King Bob - 01-21-2026

i thought the first episode was boring. I lost interest.

RE: Seven Dials (2026) - Greg - 01-25-2026

Well, we saw all three episodes. And, no. Skip this. The last episode was complete trash. Too much time sitting around talking and a completely bullshit explanation of what happened in the first scene.

Can I just fast forward to the Helena scenes?

They are few and far between. I'm sure there are better Helena movies out there to slake your passions.
