The Residence (2025) - Greg - 03-31-2025 Murder at the white house during a state dinner. Seems like they are riffing on The Glass Onion movies, but it works. It's kind of funny. It is ineterstinlgy constructed going from a senate hearing after action discovery to the hours before and after the murder. Saddest part is Al Franken playing a senator. As murder mysteries go, I am involved. RE: The Residence (2025) - Greg - 04-06-2025 Still good. Still very derivative but the show is very well constructed. There were a couple of laugh out loud funny sections RE: The Residence (2025) - Greg - 04-14-2025 "The Trouble with Harry" episode. I just caught on the chapter titles arte movie references. Still funny and engaging. Still no idea who did the crime. I'm enjoying this show very much. The episode ends with the question I've been asking the entire season. RE: The Residence (2025) - Greg - 04-23-2025 And finished. On the whole, I really enjoyed this show. Well put together. Great editing and story construction. Enjoyable characters. Until the way too long ending. The big reveal took up most of the episode as Detective Cupp explained how the murderer did it. It went on forever. And it was one of those movies you couldn't solve yourself because you didn't have all the clues. But I'll give it a pass since it was so much fun. |
