Today you can post, users who signup but only offer ads and are immediately deleted. I'm giving you a day to post why you want to post here. I can't imagine your motives but maybe you can explain yourselves.
Act fast. Tomorrow I'm turning off user sign ups and going back to admin signups. Maybe you will convince me to leave you on the board. Maybe you have something to say that will be of interest to the massive Brotherhood forum. Maybe. Maybe not.
To our regular users, I've turned off HTML for the day. No pictures or links until tomorrow.

I have no idea why. I mean, there has to be more exciting things "out there."

It had to be done. I've eliminated at least two hundred names in the last couple of weeks. Maybe I liked Propecia and Viagra more I would have let them in.

At KFM, we average 3 dozen spambot membership applications a day. Most are .ru, @gawab, or @potchka but there's been an increase of .pl and .in lately. I spend 10-15 minutes every working morning deleting spambots. You ain't seen nothing yet here.

And I don't get paid to delete the spambots. I do it out of the graciousness of my heart. Heart placement debatable.

spambots are the ants of the internet. once one finds food, they'll all come storming in. you may think this will be funny, but in the end, it'll just be a bigger mess for you to clean up later. trust me on this. like you say, i'm a professional spambot exterminator. every once in a while, one slips through, and i totally regret my lack of vigilance when i have to clean it up.
