RIP Shi Yanzhuang - Drunk Monk - 01-10-2023 He was one of the great Shaolin monks. A huge man with a big beard. Gentle as a teddy bear, but man, what Kung Fu. He could take all that girth, infuse it with qi, and it was like a wrecking ball, a laser-precise wrecking ball.  I didn't know him well but did write a cover story on him. https://www.kungfumagazine.com/magazine/article.php?article=1155  RE: RIP Shi Yanzhuang - Greg - 01-10-2023 I spotted him at Shaolin. He wanted nothing to do with me. Saw him when he came to LA and he performed at the Bowers. Wanted less to do with me. But I did get him in one of my favorite photos from the trip.
