Practicing: A Musician's Return to Music by Glen Kurtz - King Bob - 01-26-2022
The author went to a conservatory and studied classical guitar. After college, he gradually discovered that there was no real career path other than teaching, with playing coming a distant second, so he gave it up, quit playing, and got a "real" job. Years later he starts playing the guitar again. The book is a memoir, alternating with chapters about one practice session, where he talks about playing, with some discussion of guitar repertoire and history. The memoir was interesting, the practicing chapters less so, although he did mention some other books about music that sounded good.
Probably not of interest to any of you except maybe TG.
