On the Basis of Sex - Drunk Monk - 01-13-2019
A timely portrayal of one of our nation's greatest champions now. It was nice to see that Jyn can actually act although she had a tough time keeping her accent. Here in the Cruz, it played to a packed house of an adoring fans. The downside is that most all of the best lines are in the trailer. Stacy is reading an RBG bio now and felt the film rang fairly true to the book. I thought they captured the period well - the 70s - and the mother/daughter relationship was well portrayed. It's not a film that demands a big screen by any means, but I felt good about supporting it in the theaters. It's weird when politics play in what you choose to watch.
