This Friday, lads & lassies - Drunk Monk - 03-17-2010 St. Patrick's Day is just a warm-up for the RM Anchor Brewery tour. LB & DM will be there. FREE BEER! What more need I say? Re: Beer Help - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 03-17-2010 You would think LB would be able to find Free Beer a little closer to home. tour origins - Drunk Monk - 03-17-2010 It was because of LB's sig0 and your truly that this event even exists. We helped the brewmaster's date at show at the Greek theater. LBsig0 bandaged her leg. Dm chatted w/the brewmaster to reassure him that all was well and discovered his occupation. Dm mentioned that RM takes donations, especially of the beer kind, hoping he'd kick down a case or two. Now, nine years later, it's been a wonderful thank you gift. Accordingly, LBsig0 makes it out every year, and drags LB along with her. LB & sig0 offered to give Dm a ride up to the event (not quite as a DD, but it would allow for DM to really tie one on). However Mrs. Dm is on doula call, so he might just pass on that and travel solo. Wouldn't want to have to make that quick exit from the party with them in tow. Re: Beer Help - Greg_phpbb3_import1 - 03-17-2010 Completely off topic, but that is deriguere here, how is the LB SigO doing? I'll let you know after the Anchor tour - Drunk Monk - 03-17-2010 I saw them over NYE, but haven't seen them since. We chatted about this event and will catch up then. That was part of the carpool scheme. The beer for summer 2010 - Drunk Monk - 03-22-2010 Humming Ale - very tasty! http://www.anchorbrewing.com/beers/hummingale.htm As for LBsig0, she's doing well. They've settled in their country home with two dogs. Syl goes in for another operation on the ides of April to replace the lens and cosmetically reattach the pupil. There's a still lot of lost vision, and only a little change of much more improvement, but she's can drive and function normally. She's very happy with her new home, her dogs and her Legboner. Tactical Nuclear Penguin - thatguy - 04-15-2010 I was sure there was already a post around here about this, but Search has come up empty... <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://consumerist.com/2010/04/are-you-ready-for-beer-with-32-alcohol-content.html">http://consumerist.com/2010/04/are-you- ... ntent.html</a><!-- m --> Quote:Are You Ready For Beer With 32% Alcohol Content? --tg At last! Yikes. DM can buy it for the Yeti for Christmas. At $765? - Drunk Monk - 07-23-2010 Do you have any idea what kind of whisky DM could get for the Yeti at a 10th of that price? I'll tell you what kind. The kind that would make a Yeti DM's bitch 'til New Years. At last! A bike for EDs! - Drunk Monk - 07-23-2010 ![]() Holy Grail Ale - Drunk Monk - 09-22-2010 ![]() I picked up a sixer on the way to earthdance. It was like $10 at Bev Mo. Totally not worth that price for the flavor. It's a very mediocre beer. It was all about the label, which was appreciated by a few python fans that I shared it with. I don't recommend it. http://www.blacksheepbrewery.com/Beers/BottledBeers/HolyGrail.aspx slightly OT - Drunk Monk - 04-26-2012 I found another bike for ED ![]() |
